Apartment Review for Andover Woods - Charlotte, NC

I thought the apartments looked great from the outside. When I moved in the carpet was new. The oven wasn't clean and there were some marks on the walls. They suppose to change the filters for the A/C every 3 months and they just changed mine and I've been here for almost a year.

The neighbors are noisy. Slamming doors, yelling, and the music is played loud. You can complain to the management, but nothing is done. Which suprised me because they said they will fine the tenant and then evict them if problem persists. So far, there has been at least 10 complaints against one tenant and nothing is being done.

As far as crime is concerned, its a lot going on around here. My car was broken into. Police cars may patrol around the apartments every 'blue moon' or when crime has been reported. They have gates at the entrance, but never closes them. So, if you want a gated community, this is not for you. And I cannot wait for my lease to be up.

The parking spaces are just an illusion. Good luck with getting a decent parking space. Sometimes I have to park near other buildings and walk all the way to my building. I can't keep an eye on my vehicle at all from that distance.

The only positive I can give the apartments is that they do come and spray for bugs. I have not have any problem with bugs. I recommend that you get a car alarm and rental insurance.
