Apartment Review for Atkins Circle - Charlotte, NC

As a young professional in the Charlotte area, I moved to this apartment complex as a last minute resort, hoping to be content with my decision. You would expect since it is in a nice area it would meet some sort of nice standard of living. Let me just put it this way, looks are very deceiving and was more than delighted to get out of this place ASAP. It was the worst living environment of my life. The management was and still is I might add, the rudest group of people I have ever had to deal with before (except for Neil). No matter how long you live here, whether it's 6 months or 5 years, you won't get your deposit back, period. They gave some lame excuse to me why I wasn't getting it back and I had never recieved any type of memo as to why, go figure, they are dishonest and unprofessional and that's the bottom line. Plus, I had to call the police on several occasions due to the high traffic of drug related events that occur in this complex and might I add that there have been people busted for prostitution trafficing as well. (I saw both of these with my own eyes) It appears to be a nice place to live on the outside, they keep the grounds groomed wonderfully with the money they never return for deposits, keep that in mind! They better watch out, the media will take an opportunity like this and run with it, dishonesty is a horrible plague for those in the end
