Apartment Review for Brook Valley Apartments - Charlotte, NC

First, we immediately got bed bugs really badly. We needed to have the apartment sprayed and all of our furniture thrown away. This was $185 for the spraying. This made us be late in the rent. Instead of giving us a grace period to pay, Jasmine, the manager, filed eviction papers against us the VERY day the rent was DUE! Then, to make this woman more sneaky, she never sent us the notices! she withheld the papers, didn't even tell us we had a court date, and got us evicted! We where totally EVICTED because this woman is sneaky. It is our belief (also some other residents too), that jasmine is pocketing some the rent money that people pay. I know for a fact that she ALTERED our payment record to show that we hadn't been paying. But, it was not provable beyond doubt. don't even ask for an owners name/number. You will never get it!
