Apartment Review for Castlewood Apartments - Charlotte, NC

I was new to charlotte and did all my negotiating over the internet and phones with the staff. Boy was I lied too. My apartment was falling appart at the seems. The roaches were the only ones happy. This being my first place in the south I wasn't used to a couple roaches, let alone the infestation that was in my apartment. We had many electrical issues and power surges in our apt. one finally blew out our tv, which Whitney told me my renters insurance should cover. I finally called the building code inspector and they came out and found 5 major offenses in my apartment alone, and gave Castlwood a courtdate. I moved out the next week, they have never pursured me for breaking my lease either. If your there now get out and if your looking run the other way.
