Apartment Review
for the dogs...
Review Date: 5/7/2008 Reviewer: Anonymous
This place is for the dogs...no extra charge for dogs...but the dog crap is left on sidewalks...and if you have small children, good place otherwise, it is over run by children, some are frequently latchkey...its somewhat quaint, but bushes are old and not taken care of in some areas, recently pine needles where placed after 3 years of open dirt areas, except of course near the office...it is close by southpark mall and walking distance to HT...until recently the place was to be torn down but what I heard was they could not get re-zoning so the plans where scraped...prices are higher than average for a one bedroom...$800...average for Charlotte is $660...I'd advise asking for a long term lease and make them an offer of $600...there are alot of empty apartments at the Colony now, and in Charlotte, make them an offer. Lots of turn over here, transient traffic. I had trouble finding a parking spot on weekends. Maintenance is exempliery. they are old apartments, things break frequently. Plenty of water and sewer problems, water is turned off frequently. I would only reccommend this apartment complex if you don't mind over priced old apartments, hoards of noisy kids, menapausal office help, transient atmosphere and could not get in anywhere else b/c of your dog. And if you do have an interest, ask for Ashley, she is young and has the best attititude and great cleavage... |
