Apartment Review for Creekwood Apartments - Charlotte, NC

I moved into Creekwood because my friend was living there at the time. She'd moved in only a couple of months prior. Everything was fine at first. Then I had stupid neighbors whose kids were picked up at 5:30 AM so EVERY weekday morning their driver honked the horn several times to signal the kids that it was time to go. Several complaints were made to the front office (by more than one person). Their reply was "who's apartment is it? and they are being evicted soon". I don't know whos apartment it is because the kids run out the side of the building and telling me it will end soon isn't good enough. My boyfriend and neighbors had to go outside themselves and talk to the driver which still did no good. FINALLY either the school year was over or they were evicted and it stopped after a month or two. My neighbors car was broken into along with several others. They completely destroyed her car and she ended up having to get a new one because the thieves ripped out her whole dash including the heating/cooling system as they got her cd player out. My apartment was broken into and the front office put up a board and told me that the window people would be out that day or the next. Thankfully they came out that day otherwise I would have been making a fuss. Since that's happened I've talked to several other people whose apartments have been broken into as well. Not to mention their own front office has been broken into. There is no security...do not be fooled. A cop drives through MAYBE once a night that I've seen which isn't going to deter anyone from breaking in. My sliding glass door hasn't been on the tracks since I moved in. They came out to fix it but it went right back off. My toilet handle falls off. They came out to fix it but it fell right back off again. My neighbors garbage disposal sounded horrible. I thought she was vacuuming upstairs when she used it and they never did anything about it. My bathroom vent didn't work and they said that's how its supposed to be. You can barely hear the dang thing. Otherwise the apartments are fine. Besides the obnoxious neighbors I had in the beginning it's fairly quiet for an apartment complex. And if it weren't for the robbery of cars and apartments I wouldn't have much to say much about them. As soon as my lease is up though I'm running and never looking back!
