Apartment Review for Heatherwood Apartments - Charlotte, NC

Heatherwood is a glorified and decorated piece of poop. You'll come here and it will look nice and quiet. But oh boy do things change once management closes up shop at 5PM. It seems that anyone and everyone uses the pools, the apartments are 30+ years old and show it, the appliances I swear have to be the originals (Dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, water heater, AC). The office staff is very friendly as long as you pay on time, I have never had a problem with them and they have always helped me out. They like to turn a blind eye to problems that arise and say "oh we checked it out it was nothing, nothing at all". The guys who actually do the maintenance are very friendly and helpful. There are a few nice people scattered about the complex, but just to let you know you CANNOT get pizza delivered here because of "security reasons". It is not a friendly place to live, but like I said there are a few nice people that got roped into living here. But just so you know, this is a SECTION 8 housing complex, so if you have a job you will be one of the few who do that live here.
