Apartment Review for Heatherwood Apartments - Charlotte, NC

If you come look at this place and have a job be warned that you will be a minority. Most people that live here do not have jobs and just hang out in the breeze ways all day. And just so you know, THIS IS SECTION 8 HOUSING! They will NOT tell you that in the leasing office, but you get a lot of shady people that do not work yet some how they can afford really nice cars and things. There is also plenty of public drinking that can be seen throughout the complex at all hours of the day. The back side of the complex is the worst. You will hear gun shots, yelling, screaming, car alarms, sirens, and other unsettling noises if you move here. This is not a good place to live. If you do come take a look, do not be fooled by the appearance during the day. Drive through it at night or on the weekend and you will see exactly what I'm talking about. The two months free rent that they offer brings a lot of shady people who take advantage of that and then do not pay and get evicted. BEWARE IF YOU CHOSE TO LIVE HERE!
