Apartment Review for The Landing On Farmhurst - Charlotte, NC

I am a resident of The Landing and I would not recommend this complex to my dog. I take that back, maybe I would since it seems more dogs than people live there. Since Oct. 2009 I have told mgt. of the problems in my apartment and to this day NOTHING has been done. The Landlord cares nothing for her RENT PAYING tenants and is a pathological liar! Her famous words when asking when the maintenance tech will come out... "He'll be there today"... Never happens! Which I guess shouldn't really matter since the maintenance tech has no clue as to what he's doing. My water heater sprung a leak, the maintenance guy comes, punches a hole in my wall and leaves a gaping hole exposing the pipes and informs me that he's "finished". My dishwasher pretty much spins food around and does not clean the dishes, you know what the maintenance man told me? He says to run my garbage disposal and the dishwasher AT THE SAME TIME!! Really?! Can you imagine the noise? And what kind of advice is that anyway?? There's a hole in my 2nd bedroom ceiling the size of a dime... it leaks. The ceiling in my main bathroom .. the plaster is hanging! Maintenance man came and tore down what was hanging now whatever was left is hanging down lower! Oh, forgot to mention the ants nest that was behind the water heater when the leak came about, the maint. man sprayed some cheap bug spray and left dead ants all over the top of the water heater. Unless you need a place to move into quickly for cheap and you're only going to be there TEMPORARILY (like 6 months) I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone!! Next stop... Better Business Bureau
