Apartment Review for Matthews Crossings - Charlotte, NC

i lived in this comunity for 2 years and it has gone downhill slowly and i don't know if it can or will recover i love the space for the $$$ but if you want to feel safe this may not be your place. WATER ISSUES; lived there 4 months and holidays came and 2 watermain breaks and no water for 2 days both times then comes spring and another watermain break no water for 2 days again then u get notice replacing all pipes in apt and they in ur apt for 3 days cutting and fixing the then its "fixed" and what happens closet floods and they cant find leak for 13 days Maintenance they tell u 24 hour maintenance but if u have a problem u get voicemail and when they show up they are as lost as you are. had water leak in my apt it took 13 days and 5 times of me going to office for the leak to be found and repaired leaving me without my master bath and walk in closet for 13 days due to water in floor of closet wheh i moved in gates were up but didnt work told would be repaired within weeks 2 years later they were removed and i was told the gates were false sense of security by office staff not going to be put back up needless to say a 92 yr old lady has been robbed and injured while bringing groceries and neighbors wheels stole off cars
