Apartment Review for Pinetree Apartments - Charlotte, NC

When I first moved in I had to clean the apartment it was nasty and roaches EVERYWHERE. It took 3 months to get rid of most of them. I was there 15 months and during that time they had 3 shootings right outside my apartment complex and I have small children. I was told if I gave a 60 day notice to move out I would get my deposit back (this was to get out of my lease) well they lied about that so now I'm out $650 but I'm fighting that. I did not feel safe there and always had strangers knock on my door all hours of the night/day. Last summer the pool was down majority of the summer and beer bottles/cans laying all over the place including parking lot.
