Apartment Review for Steelecroft Farm Apartments - Charlotte, NC

i had such high hopes for this place. and we really enjoyed it until the second and first floor apartments below us were rented out to complete trash. they're loud and trashy and they have loud and trashy kids. i've complained over and over again about the noise and the trash. and when i say trash, i mean open bags beside their doors. half-eaten food strewn around the stairwells. and now, the building has ants. do the managers care? NO. i practically had to badger them into sending a letter the building about the trash problem. did it help? of course not. i came home from work tonight to find not 1 but 2 open bags of trash around our building. but they don't care. all they care about is that the rent gets paid each month. they don't care that they're going to lose 2 quiet, respectful tenants because of these jerks. here's a tip to all you property managers out there. be strict. seriously. make people follow the rules. hound them until they do. charge them a fine if they continue to disrespect the community. your good tenants will thank you rather than terminate their lease.
