Apartment Review for Waterford Square Apartments - Charlotte, NC

My husband and I have been living at Waterford Square for almost two years and we have put up with the forgetful staff and the incompetent maintenance, just like everyone else has stated. We never said a word to them. We even had mold growing in here for months and we never did anything out of the way other than beg them to fix the leak! But when the Mitch the maintenance guy decided to yell and scream at me one Sunday morning in March 2009 over not putting my 7 pound dog (who was five feet away from me minding his own business peeing on a bush btw) on a leash, I thought I would be justified in telling Beverly Hampton, the manager of Waterford Square Apartments. But that was not the case. Instead of taking any action, she simply told my husband to reign in his wife and tell her to stop hurting the maintenance man’s feelings (seriously, her words).. When I got upset at that, she audited our files and claimed we never paid the $400 pet fee for the dog. Since we closed that account over a year ago and they "lost" their copy, we have to pay it. When finally I went to her office to ask her for the owner of the property’s information, she would not even see me (she has NEVER spoken to me either. She calls my husband) and said that she was told not to give out that information. DO NOT RENT HERE! They do not care about anything but their numbers. We now (with this second pet fee) pay them almost eight hundred dollars a month to make us feel anything but welcome
