Apartment Review for Willowridge - Charlotte, NC

They're under new management and they don't realize these apartments are over 20 years old! The maintence and up keep is horrible, I swear our a/c unit is at least 15 years old and has broke break twice already this summer. The maintence team protends to fix stuff. I've called them for my washing machine as well. They gave me a new one (new to me that is) and it's broke too. I've done noting but what they've asked me to do-- Keep the AC at one temp because it's getting over heated they told me and it work for all of two days and then when right back to not working. This situation is highly frustrating. One because I have a 1 year old son, two I't gets hotter in here than it gets outside. Today it 92 degrees outside and it feels like it's 100 in here! This is VERY unacceptable!!! The maintence staff are friendly but in last few months I've had to call them about refixing things that they were suppost to had fixed already. Now last year I had very few problem with the maintence staff. I realized when they came they try their hardest not to do any work. For example I had a gentleman come when I had a broken dishwasher all he did was replace wheels on the rack. It didn't fix the problem and it took two more weeks for someone to come out and finally fix the problem (After I had to continue to call and remind the staff about the problem). Oh, and did I mention the main light in front of my building when out two months ago? So if you go out there after dark you're taking a chance of getting robbed! Other than that, the pools are pretty nice and the surrounding area (interms of shopping, dining and access to 485 loop) are great. But living here is not something I'd do again. Would you?...... Man! It's HOT!!
