Apartment Review for Winterwood - Charlotte, NC

I lived in these apartments for almost 3 years. I had to move into a different apartment 2 times b/c of flooding. The second time (Debbie) the manage told me I could stay in there with the condition the way they were. The smell of the dry wall from the ceiling literallly made me sick n congested ~ there is a mold issue.. They should have ripped the ceiling out and rebuilt it but all they did was dry it up some repatch it and paint over it. I could tell it had happen before in the other apartments. It was a concern b/c of mold n mildew. I finally left and Im glad although Im not happy with where I am now. My advice is to just buy a house or try to. The less you pay in apartments the crappier they are going to be. Crime was also bad here. My husband's car was broken into and so was my brothers. Kids are way too rowdy and always walking in the street - makes u just want to run them over. They are rude. The office people are also very unfriendly. Do not live here!!!
